"Children are our future, let us all join hands and walk there with them."

About Us

Head Teacher's Welcome

Welcome to Low Hill Nursery School. We look forward to beginning our learning journey with you and your child.
Low Hill is a well established outstanding school, with an experienced staff team. Our aim is to work in partnership with you to achieve the very best outcomes for your child’s future.

“The children`s interest in their learning is seen in their high levels of
concentration, the enjoyment in their happy faces and their laughter.”

Low Hill Nursery School caters for 120 children in our 3 to 4 years  classroom. We also have places for 2 year olds and those children who are just 3 . We have a Special Educational Needs resource which caters for those children who have complex SEN.
Within our provision we have places for children who are eligible for 30 hours . Your child will be eligible if all parents within the household work for at least 16 hours per week.

We believe in an holistic approach to learning, understanding and recognising that children have individual learning styles.
The child, the family and their wellbeing is the heart of everything we do. We believe home, school and practitioner work together to ensure all children are able to reach their full potential.

We believe that our children's learning begins in the home. We support and extend their learning by providing a challenging, stimulating, well resourced, well organised environment which enables each child to devel-op physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, morally and spiritually.

We implement the Early Years Foundation Stage recognising that play based activities and opportunities to investigate, explore, enquire, predict and evaluate can take place in a climate without fear or compromise.

We believe every child has a right to a safe, secure environment where everyone regardless of gender, culture, ethnicity or Special Needs are treated as individuals and can derive pleasure, independence and confidence through learning.

We ensure that all staff are well qualified and highly skilled in order to have high expectations of the children and are able to deliver a quality curriculum which meets individual needs.

We celebrate every milestone, however small.

We promote opportunities to share learning experiences with the wider community
